Parksol PGS in business center: Quadrum case

ABOUT QUADRUM

Quadrum Business City is the largest State-of-the-Art Business Center in Lithuania with more than 70.000 sq.m. The business center has 3 buildings: „Quadrum East“ consists of 17 floors, „Quadrum North“ consists of 12 floors, „Quadrum South“ consists of 9 floors.

Quadrum has a three-level underground car park with 27000 sq.m. of space for cars, bicycles, and electric cars. One car park level is dedicated for visitors, the other two – for staff and employees.

The construction process of Quadrum was managed in accordance with the prestigious BREEAM standard and rating system. The elements that are being assessed include the structural stability of the building and its impact on health, energy-saving, water quality, effective utilization of materials, and waste management. The BREEAM system focuses on occupational safety, cleanliness and tidiness on construction sites, environmental care, and suitable work conditions for all employees.

SITUATION

The impression of the business center is formed from the moment of arrival. Easy and effortless parking allows it’s visitors to feel comfortable. It creates a positive impression about the business center and the companies that are working in it.

PARKSOL PARKING GUIDANCE SYSTEM

Quadrum has really huge three-level underground parking, therefore one level is dedicated for visitors, the other two – for staff and employees. To connect 800 parking spaces into one coherent structure, we have installed Parksol Ultrasonic Parking Guidance System.

Ultrasonic sensors detect and transmit parking spaces’ availability information in real-time to the Parksol system. Remote indicators show the availability of a parking space. LED signages show direction and amount of free parking spaces. We installed 45 LED signages to make it easier to navigate through different levels and parking areas.

• We estimated: an advanced Parking Guidance System helps visitors and employees save an average of 5,5 minutes of their time per day.

• Reduced environmental pollution: cars find free parking spaces faster.
